“Lise is a highly sophisticated coach who seamlessly flexes from deep, subconscious pattern-shifting to pragmatic leadership strategy. Working with her in nature allowed me to let go of fear and lead with less anxiety and more energy; it is the most memorable work I have ever done.”
I've never had coaching for so long. The interaction with nature creates unforgettable moments and insights.
I can still see myself standing in the stream, feeling my toes on the pebbles, walking up the mountain (under 2000m, challenging enough). Moments when Lise would say, 'How does the sun feel on your face?' or 'Where do you choose to stand still?' It's a deep physical memory."
When I go back to old patterns (they never fully leave), I'm spiraling up beyond them. I remember the physical feeling of a pattern on my shoulders as I walked up the hill. Lise weaned it out in her lovely, generous, but very clear way.
Lise uses nature as a mirror. On leadership, she'll invite you to feel your way over the stones, responsive in the moment: 'How do you lead without a playbook for every moment?' Or cycling up: Lise's super fit, and she'll say 'pay attention to your own pace. Do you have to follow someone else's?' I stopped often to reflect: 'How do I apply that to leadership and choices I make?'
I've had goal-oriented coaching before that smashed big life goals in weeks. Effective, linear. But those coaches focused only on that surface level. Lise can do both: the practical goal-crushing coaching and deeper subconscious work like childhood patterns. Nature gets into your body where the subconscious lives. I can't imagine doing it in a room. The elation from achievement once on top of the mountain helped me get out of my head.
Lise is a highly sophisticated coach with deep spiritual wisdom and phenomenal intuition. She often shares 'the exact thought I'm thinking.' She seamlessly flexes from existential musings on non-duality to pragmatic calendar/Trello tips. Her range goes from deep listening to challenging to advice: 'Can I tell you something I found?' The location takes you completely out of your life. In the evening, I was cycling to the local sauna. Pure backpacker vibe.
Advice to others:
Among everything I've done to shift patterns, working with Lise has been the most memorable. It's the thing I go back to most. For executives: doing deeper work in nature is a real gift to yourself, the privilege to focus on yourself. I went in with a major issue. I couldn't have stayed in my job without resolving it. It enabled me to let go of fear, embrace what I'd worked hard to create, and lead with less anxiety and more energy.
